Girls soccer has been dedicated and patient this year. Although they haven’t had every win, they have tried so hard and not given up. With very few wins, they go to the pitch with high spirits and confidence.
This year, girls soccer is adding players of the week to there instagram page. Coaches are highlighting the players who raise there team up when things get hard, the players that give every match there all, and the players who show up and try there hardest when the motivation gtes low to bring it back up.

What inspired you to start playing soccer?
“My mom’s love for soccer inspired me to start.”
What motivates you every game?
“Beating the other team and the adrenaline.”
What’s the best part about your team?
“How we all work well together and make an environment that we can all actually have fun in.”
Do you play outside of Hazen soccer?
“I continue to play because it’s usually the best part of my day, it lets me have fun while getting physical exercise.”
What makes a team play well together?
“A team plays well together when they’re friends with each other and communicates well with one another”
What do you feel you did best in that match?
“ The last match I played in, I did well getting open and being an option for my teammates as striker.”

What inspired you to start playing soccer?
“I’ve been playing since I was 3 years old, so it was mainly just that I enjoyed playing soccer.”
What motivates you every game?
“The want to be successful is what motivates me.”
What’s the best part about your team?
“The best part about this team is that we have moments where we are completely focused and working hard as one unit on the field.”
Why do you continue to play?
“I continue to play, because I don’t know what I would do without soccer. It’s such a big part of my life that if I quit I would lose a lot of friends and learning experiences that I wouldn’t have anywhere else.”
Do you play outside of Hazen soccer?
“Yes, I play for PAC Northwest.”
What makes a team play well together?
“A team playing well together consists of many different factors on and off the field, but I think the biggest one is Effort. Effort is really important because you can’t win a game or be at your or the team’s best if you don’t put in the work and effort.”
What do you feel you did best in that match?
“I am inspired by my coaches, both the Hazen coaches and coaches outside of Hazen, they have taught me a lot of things that I wouldn’t have learned anywhere else, including the idea that you can’t get anywhere without effort.”
