Attending Hazen for four years, many memories were made during class, clubs, sports, other events, and extracurricular activities. It is important to take a step back to reminisce about every accomplishment, new friendship, and memory made during an integral part of life. Let’s reflect on the impact Hazen has made on seniors as they share their favorite memories from Hazen.

“This was during AAPI night 2024. This was my first AAPI night, both attending and working with SASU as a board member. This was such an important and favorite memory for me because AAPI night felt like a time where so many of the cultures at Hazen felt represented!”
Emma Hearn (12)
“Track senior night was one of the most memorable events from senior year. Although we didn’t win, my family and friends were there and made me feel so supported. I loved cheering on my teammates, and overall, I will be forever grateful for the relationships I’ve made because of track!”
Justin Phan (12)
“Favorite moment at Hazen is having the chance to participate in the Hazen spirit event.”
Makenna Garret (12)
“I’m grateful for meeting some of my best friends through Hazen basketball. This picture was from a basketball practice during spirit week. We had to dress up as a rhyme, so my friend Samiyah dressed up as an athlete, and I was a sweet treat.”
Celeste Drumm (12)
“One of my favorite Hazen-related memories was prom. I had a prom brunch with my friends in the morning and made some bouquets together that matched our dresses. We started to make cute prom transition videos and then went to get ready. I got ready with one of my friends and my sister, and then met up with my other friends and did prom dress reveals and finished transitions. We then took pictures at the Woodland Rose Garden and went to dinner at the Palisade. After that, we attended prom and had a fun time together, all glammed up! After that, we hung out all together and watched Rio!”
Alayna Nguyen (12)
“I have this picture of me from the senior car decorating bonding we did at the beginning of the year! I had a ton of fun catching up with everyone after summer break, and I enjoyed getting my car ready and painted for senior year!”
Megan Lui (12)
“One of my favorite memories from my time at Hazen is cross country team dinners! I got closer and became friends with so many people I wouldn’t have otherwise, and got to eat a bunch of good food.”
Ian Winfrey (12)
“I do not think my favorite memory from my time at Hazen could not be captured in just a single photo, but I would say this is quite close to that. This was my promposal to my beautiful girlfriend, who I was lucky enough to share the moment and event with! Though, to me this picture is more than just a simple promposal. The effort from the people around me to help plan this and the actual memory of the dance and being with the people I’m closest to is what makes this special for me. I could not ask for a better girlfriend or group of friends to surround myself with from the start to end of my high school experience. I feel extremely blessed to know that my closest people will be successful, and I can’t wait to be alongside all of them, especially this girl!”
Sienna German (12)
“My favorite memory from high school was prom night! It was a great day of celebration of being a senior and all the work we have put in to get there.”
Sam Nicholson (12)
“The photo is of me and the baseball team, my junior year, after our win against Ingraham High School. I remember I pitched well in that game, and we cruised to a win, and I like it because it’s a great picture of me and all of my friends after a solid game when we all played our best.”
