Who Makes You Happy Pt.2

Last issue, we interviewed students at Hazen about the people who make them happy and put a smile on their face. In this issue, we interviewed some more students and asked them who makes them happy.

“The person who makes me happy and puts an instant smile on my face is my cousin or my boyfriend because they are just very lively people.” Yvonne Nguyen (10)

“My little nephew makes me smile because when I get home from school, I see him and he is really funny.” Wendy Puga (10)

“My girlfriend is able to put an instant smile on my face because she is always there for me and she is really cool.” Martin Metefe (12)

“My best friend makes me happy because I can talk to him about a lot of stuff and we can just relate to each other and we can start hanging out and I just instantly forget whatever was stressful that day.” Reagan Ross (9)

“The person that makes me happy is my best friend Alma. I met her last year, she’s kind of a little stink, she’s my little scalawag, we hang out every day and she’s honestly so fun to be around and we are always goofing around and overall she just makes me happy.” Ariana Hossain (10)

“My best friend Brooklyn makes me happy because she is my best friend and she is really easy and comforting to be around and always makes me feel better when I’m down.” Mason Winger (11)

“My Mom makes me happy because she is just always there for me and helps me go through the highs and lows of life.” Morrie Solam (11)

“The person that makes me happy is my best friend Stephanie Aitonean, I can’t live without her. Any sad moment, with her it’s always laughing.” Maraki Lukas (10)

“My best friends make me happy because they understand me and they always put up with my long rants and they give great advice.” Aubrey Manikoth (10)

“My best friends make me happy because they can always cheer me up when I’m sad and they always know the right things to say.” Lilly Huizinga (10)

“The person that makes me happy is my mom because she’s always there for me and knows how to cheer me up when I’m sad.” AJ Smith (12)

“My friends and my boyfriend make me happy because I have a lot of fun with them and they make me laugh even when I’m upset.” Gabby Strege (9)

“My Mom makes me happy and puts a smile on my face because if I have any problems, I just go to her and she most likely knows what to say and how to fix the problem.” Gabriel Davis (9)

“My family members make me happy because I’m so grateful that they are always with me and I know that they will always have my back no matter what and I know I can count on them.” Osvaldo Mendoza (12)

All of these students have different people who make them happy and are able to put a smile on their faces, whether it’s family, friends, or pets. If you are reading this we hope you have somebody that can make you smile. Make sure to let them know just how special they are and how much you appreciate them and all they do.
